    This titling project allowed the development of a maintenance plan for the hydroelectric plant "La Peninsula", prepared by collecting information described in the daily activity log of generation operators, in which data was collected from the four hydraulic machines, for obtaining technical data from the equipment, environmental and safety suggestions for operators. The generation units were divided into three operating systems for their analysis and application of the RCM methodology, using the following: availability calculation, frequency of tabulated failure modes by pareto analysis and determining recurrent maintenance activities, the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method focuses on the seven questions of the RCM , by which the IPR (Risk Priority Index) of each component of the generating units was identified, the criticality was calculated using weighted criteria that assess the risk posed by each element to the presentation of a failure mode and the last step were the RCM decision sheets detailing the proposed maintenance activities.
