Carrera de Diseño Textil e Indumentaria., 2022-03-17) Landa Manobanda, Emily Monserrath; Ubilluz Alban, Iraida TeresaThe present integrative project raises and analyzes the elaboration of accessories with the use of waste and textile waste discarded by the companies of Ambato, this project is developed with the desire to reduce the environmental impact caused by the textile company and make full use of the raw material with new strategies for the creation of new products, promoting the development of good environmental practices, the main objective is to design a collection of accessories with the use of waste and textile remnants to contribute to environmental care for which information was collected bibliography of the main terms that are related to the subject to deepen knowledge. In addition, tastes and preferences of women aged between 20 to 50 years of age, from the city of Ambato of a lower and lower middle social stratum who are interested in environmental conservation, were determined, in the same way the competition was analyzed at the national level. of companies and stores that are dedicated to the production and sale of accessories. According to the data exposed by the surveys, preferences were determined according to the design of accessories, with the aim of knowing the market requirements. For the continuation of the project, we will work with the method of the author Bruno Munari, since the project theme starts from a problem which is contamination by the textile company, the problem must go through a process of logical order to have as purpose of friendly contact with nature and making the most of waste and textile waste from Ambato companies through the creation of new and innovative accessories. With the information collected, it was decided to design a collection of accessories with the use of waste and textile waste, applying the patchwork technique, the market is currently interested in innovative and reusable products, people have observed that the majority of women who consume acquire accessories such as bags and backpacks made with waste and textile waste, since an accessory is essential in modern life.
