    Grammar is fundamental, for the process of comprehension, because reading is essential for the student to acquire knowledge in all areas of study and intensify their skills. In the Education Unit "Domingo Faustino Sarmiento" students of the eighth years of basic education, have a disadvantage in understanding text, this is because teachers do not work properly in the teaching of grammar and so discourages students who have a taste for reading, for lack of stimulation by the teacher, affecting them teaching - learning process. The results obtained from surveys, reflecting the problems that exist in the institution, which justifies create a methodological guide for strengthening comprehension, as an alternative solution based on active methodology, and innovative, with the so that teachers use it as support material and is for the benefit of the institution, with positive results since we want to achieve educational excellence, this guide is designed to get students critical - reflective
