In the present research project of investigation, development, diagramming and coding of a software for the calculation of the maximum intensity of precipitation in the weather stations of zone 3 of the country was carried out, being this zone conformed by the provinces of Tungurahua, Cotopaxi, Chimborazo and Pastaza. In addition, the software also has programming all the formulas for the calculation of the maximum intensity of precipitation according to INAMHI. To verify the veracity of the results, it were compared for all the equations, with the manual result; obtaining an error of less than 1%, concluding that the software is reliable.
