On the other hand, the mood is a composite of self-perceived sensations, the origin of which is biopsychosocial and practically manageable by the perceiving subject himself. This study aimed to determine the relationship between assertiveness and mood in professional adults. The study maintains a quantitative-non-experimental approach, with a cross-sectional and correlational scope. The Rathus Assertiveness Test (RAS), standardized by Madrigal in 2009 in Costa Rica, and the mood assessme nt scale (EVEA), standardized by Giuria and López in 2021 in Peru, were used to measure the variables. The results showed that there is a correlation between the variables, 96% of the population has a level of assertiveness above the average range. In the mood state, 42% maintain a moderate level of happiness with low levels of anxiety at 42%, sadness-depression at 50%, and anger-hostility at 64%. In addition, no significant differences were found in the quality of sleep according to gender.
