Empresa Eléctrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A. faces significant difficulties in following up on and complying with the recommendations issued by internal and external auditors, mainly due to the use of non-integrated systems, such as spreadsheets, emails, and physical documents. These practices limit centralized monitoring, cause delays in status updates, and negatively affect coordination between departments. To address this problem, an integrated web-based system was developed to centralize the tracking of recommendations, allowing real-time monitoring of the status of each recommendation and facilitating effective communication with departments. This tool provides automatic alerts on upcoming and past due deadlines and establishes effective mechanisms for recording and documenting activities that support compliance with recommendations. The methodology used combined bibliographic research, quantitative research through surveys of the staff involved, and statistical methods for analyzing the data collected. The technological solution employed an agile approach based on Angular, Spring Boot for development, and the Oracle database, incorporating JWT for secure authentication and real-time notifications via WebSocket. The project resulted in a system that significantly optimizes the monitoring and control of recommendations, providing interactive dashboards and immediate notifications, which improves transparency, operational efficiency, and facilitates real-time decision-making. Evaluations indicate a notable improvement in user satisfaction and a considerable reduction in response times and human errors, which strengthens the company’s internal control.
