    Plan de requerimiento de materiales para la empresa Edy Sánchez sport en la ciudad de Ambato

    The purpose of this research is to develop a material requirements plan for the company Edy Sánchez Sport in the city of Ambato, since currently companies use an MRP to have an optimal management of resources, managing to establish an adequate planning for the raw material, as well as for finished products in order to have the established quantity of the order ready, compliance with the delivery deadline and in order to satisfy customers, achieving an increase in efficiency within an organization. The development of the project begins by determining the initial state of the company's production process, through the study of times in order to determine the standard times and production capacity. Consequently, with the information of the sales histories, the product of greatest demand was established, where said data are also used for the calculation of the demand forecasts that are necessary to be able to develop the master production program (MPS), which contains the information of the quantity of finished products that must be made in a period of time, where the quantities are established from the forecasts calculated for the month of June, July, August and September of the year 2023. Finally, the material requirements plan was developed for the month of June, July, August and September, where the 3 products share the same type of material only differ in the elastic, the closures and the type of fabric, the latter specifically for the T shirt. With the application of the MRP, there is a better planning to make raw material purchases in a specific time, managing to have the materials on time to start production, avoiding unnecessary storage of raw material, where the implementation of the MRP has a cost of $2,448.95 for the 4 months of the plan, it takes into account the costs of maintaining inventory, material costs, cost of ordering, cost of available inventory and cost of machine preparation
