    Cooperative Savings and Credit House "La Merced Ltda." Is an institution of solidarity economy that drives the sustainable development of their partners and sustained growth of the cooperative sector through the provision of financial services and the promotion of alternative development, improving quality of life of the community. This research aims to minimize the impact on delinquency, developing the proposed domestic policies that will optimize the recovery of portfolio in the Cooperative Savings and Credit House "La Merced Ltda." According to the purpose of research, historical analysis of the recovery of overdue loans were made, which reflect high default rates, for this reason surveys were conducted to internal customers of the cooperative for compliance with credit policies, which reflect; policies that do not have enough to help recovery portfolio and breach of the same ones. The proposal is based on establishing policies where parameters are set, with the help of timely control, implementing collection products that help regularize the accounts or liquidate debts and implement a manual recovery portfolio to enhance the return of credits granted in a timely manner.
