Carrera de Idiomas., 2015-09-11) Cerón Jordán, Carlos Fernando; Chimbo Cáceres, Elsa MayorieThis investigation pretends to be an important contribution in the teaching-learning process of English as a second language and at the same time, it promotes the autonomous work of students using technology. This investigation allows teachers to adapt it to their necessities. After getting information through direct observation and surveys about feedback and its influence in the speaking skill, in students of third year of baccalaureate from the Unidad Educativa Bolívar, from Ambato city, Tungurahua province, it was easy to identify that students were willing to talk in English, but they felt demotivated at the moment of getting feedback from their teachers. They did not give feedback properly and most of the time they did not give it. The teacher did not use rubrics and types of feedback (teacher’s feedback, peer-feedback, self-feedback), the students did not know about the positive and negative aspects of their skills with the language. As a solution to the problem, it was necessary to create an alternative feedback tool to develop the speaking skill of English as a second language, using a technological tool and promoting the autonomous work of the student, this will help students to receive feedback while they use the oral skill in a communicative way, all of this with the objective of improving the competences and satisfy the educative necessities of the country.
