    Análisis de fallas mediante metodología Six Sigma en el proceso productivo de lavado y tinturado de prendas de vestir en la Empresa El Laboratorio del Denim Ecuador lDEEC Cía. Ltda.

    ABSTRACT The present investigation Project is based on develop an improvement plan in the productive prosess of washing and garment dyeing in the Company ´´ LABORATORIO DEL DENIM ECUADOR LDEEC CIA. LTDA.´´, due to the large number of reprocessing and garment failures. The methodology applied for the process of analysis is based on the DMAIC tools (Define, measure, analyze, improve and control), through a systematic sampling, in which the quality level of the processes is determined for DPMO metric (Defects per million opportunities) and PPM (Parts per million) According with the results we determinate that the potencial defects in the wet área A: lycra in play and low concentration of dyeing , in the ´´sandblasting´´ area the defects are : color distorsion and stirpes on the garment , also after the evaluation we found that the Sigma level actually in the wet area is 3,05 sigma, in sandblasting área 3,53 sigma , and in the manufacture área 3,56 sigma, as a result global level is 3,38 sigma. As a conclution actually the Company doesn´t have a good quality and his process generate numerous quality problems in the garment, therefore they requires a process control by stablish improvements of proposals to improve and reduce the variability.
