Carrera de Diseño Gráfico Publicitario, 2017-05) Bautista Salazar, Elizabeth Maricela; Brito, SantiagoThe brand design and its importance in the recognition of the Celebrations of the Prince San Miguel of the Canton Salcedo is an advertising tool to rescue and to fix in the mind of the population the pride by its identity and cultural patrimony. The main objective of this research was to propose the design of the brand for the recognition of the holidays of Prince San Miguel in Canton Salcedo through a logo that visually represents the cultural identity of the parties and reflects the values of the people. The methodology used was documental bibliographical research for the development of the Theoretical Framework, the field research was applied through the survey technique and as a questionnaire instrument with 10 multiple choice closed questions. As for the design of the brand that is proposed, it is based on visual elements of Prince Michael as the center of these festivities. The prince's wings symbolize love, peace, the link between the human and the divine. For this reason a visual identity was created, intercalating the logo and isotype, based on the concept of love and protection evidenced in its wings in the form of Heart, in the center is the pennant as a symbol of the presence of God and the crown that symbolizes the royal and divine honor it boasts, achieving a greater sense of belonging for the present and future generations.
