    La parentificación en familias monoparentales

    The objective of the research was to investigate the incidence of parentification in single-parent families in the Ashpacruz neighborhood of the city of Latacunga, through a quantitative approach and at a descriptive level, the research subjects were the oldest children of single-parent families, the population was estimated In 65 single-parent families and a non-probabilistic snowball sample of 23 respondents was expanded, the validated Parentification Questionnaire Young version (PQ-Y) and the family Apgar were applied. It was concluded that there is 95.65% parentification and of this 56.52% had high levels, within it they are classified into their two emotional and instrumental types as well, there is a majority value of 56.5% of families highly functional added to the information, it was possible to observe the female sex that presents a higher level of parentification. Finally, the proposal to generate a journal structure that synthesizes what was investigated was raised.
