    The objective of this study is to evaluate the nutritional status of public transport operators in the province of Tungurahua and make a proposal for nutritional intervention, considering the importance of maintaining healthy eating habits in preventing the development of cardiovascular diseases. The research that has been developed is of a cross-sectional correlational descriptive type, which seeks to analyze the eating pattern and physical activity maintained by public transport drivers in the province of Tungurahua, to generate a nutritional diagnosis with the purpose of proposing a food intervention plan for the population. This study was carried out through the application of tools such as: SOAP format, 24-hour reminder, anthropometric measurement instruments (bioimpedance scale, height rod), laboratory test and consumption frequency survey, in the population of public transport drivers from the cooperative that is part of two different taxi cooperatives, “12 de Noviembre” and “Turismo Ambateño”.
