Abstract

The work of study on the image that has the building by means of the architectural identity in the urban space of the city of Latacunga in which it contributes great interest for the respect and valuation that conserves the fifth United States by its trajectory throughout the time and which is implicit the collective memory of the city that in sense of giving a meaning and interest for respect to its history that transcends time and that has marked that dialogue before the different periods that have configured the architecture of the city and in all its surroundings and of how it is linked to the environment through the different changes of elements and characteristics of the Quinta as its typology, morphology and mutation that it has had, demonstrating itself in the reflection of its interior spaces of the building, by means of different elements such as forms and components that have a dialogue with the time in which they were constructed, in order to be able to obtain an appreciation of the value of symbolic elements that are also linked to the architectural imagery that is an essential part of what is happening at present, coming to propose a contribution of image and identity to the city and the building by means of the research study carried out.
