“Perfil epidemiológico musculo-esquelético en la población ecuatoriana de la zona 3”.

Abstract

The objective of this research work is to establish the musculo-skeletal epidemiological profile of the Ecuadorian population of Zone 3 during the period 2015-2016 in order to determine the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders and the population with the highest degree of involvement of the Area, the research was conducted based on the RDACCA files of the Ministry of Health of Zone 3, the information obtained was filtered, classified and analyzed according to the records of the first visits of the patients attended during the period. According to the sample obtained, investigated, analyzed and processed, it was concluded that the most prevalent musculoskeletal disorders in zone 3 of Ecuador are: non-specific low back pain, myalgia and neuralgia or non-specific neuritis, taking into account that the female population has a greater degree of affectation and the province with the largest number of patients seen in the different health houses is the province of Tungurahua.
