Abstract

The arrival of this process of evolution has caused the radio waves in conventional radio to transfer their actions to a digitized electrical radio spectrum (DIGITAL AUDIO BROADCASTING), thus migrating to new possibilities and new audiences because their day-to-day demands make the trends monopolize more listeners in all geographical latitude. Communion and the impact of digitization on radio is paramount and this is how its beneficial usability is appreciated in users, such as receiving a very high definition of sound quality, multimedia information, little interference and at the same time generating this fundamental exchange of socialization and renewal in content production. This investigation began in October of 2017, " FROM THE RADIO CONVENTIONAL TO THE DIGITAL RADIO IN SNAIL FM 91.3 OF THE CITY OF AMBATO" Through the hypothesis, it was proposed to use an information survey that was generated through surveys of a sector of Ambato and interviews with Communicators and Journalists of various radio media, which have an impeccable and very important trajectory, the same ones that revealed that it is the right moment to start a migration process to digital radio.
