“LA PREPARACIÓN A LA JUBILACIÓN Y SU INFLUENCIA EN LA ESTABILIDAD EMOCIONAL DE LOS DOCENTES EN EDAD JUBILATORIA DE LA UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE AMBATO.”

Abstract

This research work aims to analyze the influence between preparing for retirement and emotional stability of teachers at retirement age. It has been taken in reference to the population of the Technical University of Ambato. In light of the situation analysis, it was determined that there are misconceptions about retirement, affecting the very conception of this new phase of human life; also, ignorance of the requirements for the retirement process that causes discomfort in teachers and generates procrastination retirement decision. If left untreated these problems will continue to have a misconception retirement processes and the uncertainty accompanied ignorance of the subject which could cause high levels of anxiety. For this purpose has been identified the current characteristics of the preparation for retirement, and has also been determined whether the level of emotional stability is the same between the evaluated; Finally, the relationship between preparation for retirement and emotional stability was established. With a quantitative approach, bibliographic form - documentary and field, and descriptive level, the methodology is determined to reach the following conclusions: a direct relationship between preparation for retirement and emotional stability was established teachers, which was detected that inadequate preparation for retirement causes have incorrect ideas of it, altering their levels of emotional stability and affecting ascending levels of anxiety among teachers retirement age. Through this research, it is recommended to work around the preparation of people in retirement age on the topic of retirement, for which the researcher puts consider a Canon of preparation for retirement, designed for university teachers, in eagerness to collaborate not only with the Technical University of Ambato, but the teacher population with similar characteristics.
