Evaluación del extracto vegetal Maitenus leavis para el control de áfidos mediante endoterapia vegetal en el cultivo de limón sutil (Citrus aurantifolia)

Abstract

The endotherapy of the vegetable extract of Monteverdia laevis which is a tree native to the Amazon generally known as Chuchuhuasha among other names, this plant has several properties that help the environment. For the present investigation, the objective was to evaluate the plant extract of Monteverdia leavis for the control of aphids through plant endotherapy in the cultivation of subtle lemon (Citrus aurantifolia). In this investigation, it was applied to the cultivation of subtle lemon in a state of fruiting already established in which endotherapy was applied by making perforations of about 2-3 cm deep in the stem reaching the conducting vessels, previously the extract of M. laevis was made by maceration of its dry bark with 95% ethanol in different concentrations such as 4.75%, 9.52%, 13.04%, in syringes of 60 and 100 ml, obtaining data at 2 and 6 days such as the daily absorption volume of the extract in which there are significant differences between the treatments, with the best result being treatment T6 (13.04% and 100 ml) and in the variable response to the evaluation of mortality of aphids, better results are presented in T1 (4.75% and 60 ml), as well as in the variable evaluated secondary effects that the application of the extract of M. laevis can cause, it was shown that there is no damage or phyto toxicity.
