This project presents the main problem that various cantons of the Tungurahua province have, which is the scarce information that exists on the daily consumption of the drinking water network. That is why the present experimental work seeks to have real data on consumption patterns due to the important role it has in the design and redesign of the drinking water collection, conduction and distribution system, meeting the basic needs of the inhabitants and avoiding waste. , in order to comply with the above, various consumption patterns were established by conducting surveys of different users, daily recording of the meter readings of the selected sample for 45 days at the same time, in addition, 2 properties were identified that met the necessary conditions to carry out the hourly measurement for a period of 24 hours for 7 consecutive days in order to define the time of day in which the greatest consumption occurs, additionally the measurement of the drinking water pressures was carried out with a manometer in the different properties. Through the interpretation of data, it was determined that the day of greatest consumption, the average number of people per household, a value of per-capita consumption, data that will be delivered to the Quinchicoto El Porvenir Drinking Water and Sewerage Administration Board, so that the entity uses it for the benefit of the community. This project presents the main problem that various cantons of the Tungurahua province have, which is the scarce information that exists on the daily consumption of the drinking water network.
