Sistema web integrado para la gestión de trámites académico administrativos en la Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial

Abstract

This research project arises from the need to improve the management of documentation meeting the needs and expectations of customers; therefore, it is proposed to implement an integrated web system for the management of academic administrative procedures in the Faculty of Systems Engineering, Electronics and Industrial (FISEI). The methodology used for the development of the research project is the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, which consists of four phases. The exploration phase identifies the customer's needs, the planning phase estimates the effort, the iterations phase is responsible for creating the solution, and the testing phase delivers the final product to the customer. The layered architecture pattern was used, in which the client is made with React Js technology and the server with Laravel. It also works with the MySQL database and the Google Drive API. The result obtained is a web system that integrates the areas of Degree and Curricular Integration Unit, Academic Council of the Faculty and General Secretariat, with the purpose of generating procedures in an efficient and safe way. The implementation of the system is of great help for the management of the documents that are carried out in the Faculty, since the system allows to visualize the state in which the documents are, promoting an improvement in the individual and collective organization of the people who work in these areas, in addition to optimizing the time and resources of the students or teachers in the required procedures.
