Descripción : | The present investigation called Political Marketing 2.0 and the diffusion in social networks aims to investigate the use of social networks in politics, being of great contribution for political candidates who have ventured their parties or movements into these spaces to interact directly. with the citizen. Descriptive exploratory research was developed with a quantitative approach and as a data collection technique the survey directed to the voting population of the city of Ambato with a sample of 384 people to whom the instrument was applied through the Google Forms platform. For the validation of the instrument, a pilot test was applied to a total of 39 people and with the statistic called Cronbach's alpha calculated in the SPSS Statistics software, a reliability of 0.96 was obtained, later the hypothesis was verified by means of the Spearman coefficient that confirms that political marketing 2.0 allows diffusion on social networks. It is determined that the majority of the candidates and without exceptions are choosing to make themselves known through social networks, being today the main channel for political participation, seeking to promote their party and taking advantage of the dependence of this virtual generation, however, the little confidence in the information that is transmitted on social networks is notorious, due to the weak communication between candidates and voters who do not broadcast educational content to promote citizen participation. |
