Resumen : La presente investigación tuvo lugar en la Unidad Educativa Julio Enrique Fernández, nivel inicial. Para lo cual, se construyó el marco teórico, con los antecedentes investigativos a partir de libros, artículos científicos y tesis de posgrado con temas relacionados a las variables. El principal objetivo fue investigar el enfoque de género en las canciones infantiles utilizadas en el nivel mencionado. Además, fundamentar el enfoque de género desde diferentes perspectivas teóricas fue otro de los objetivos, conjuntamente con el de identificar las canciones infantiles más utilizadas para posteriormente analizarlas. La investigación tuvo un enfoque cuali-cuantitativo. Es así que, la técnica seleccionada para la recolección de la información fue la observación y el instrumento a aplicar con los niños y niñas del inicial II, fue la ficha de observación. Del mismo modo, la técnica seleccionada para recolectar la información de las docentes y autoridades fue la entrevista y el instrumento a aplicar fue un guion de entrevista. La población estuvo compuesta por veinte y dos niños y niñas, tres docentes y tres autoridades. Luego de procesar la información se la analizó y se discutió para finalmente concluir que el enfoque de género fue fundamentado desde el androcentrismo, donde la mirada masculina es la única y universal. Además, Se concluye que las canciones infantiles más utilizadas en el nivel inicial II aprecian diferentes enfoques de género, pero no tienen un enfoque de género específico o direccionado, sino más bien están más relacionados a actividades de inicio, desarrollo y fin dentro de la clase y otros factores
Descripción : This research took place at Unidad Educativa Julio Enrique Fernández, initial level. For which, the theoretical framework was built, with the investigative background from books, papers and postgraduate investigations with topics related to the variables. The main objective was to investigate the gender approach in the children's songs used in the initial level. In addition, to base the gender approach from different theoretical perspectives was another of the objectives, together with that of identifying the most used children's songs and later analyze them. The research had a qualitative-quantitative approach. Thus, the technique selected to get the information was observation and the instrument to be applied with the boys and girls of initial II was the observation sheet. In the same way, the selected technique to get the information from the teachers and authorities was the interview and the instrument to be applied was an interview script. The population consisted of twenty-two boys and girls, three teachers and three authorities. After processing the information, it was analyzed and discussed to finally conclude that the gender approach was based on androcentrism, where the male gaze is the only and universal one. In addition, it is concluded that the children's songs most used in initial level II appreciate different gender approaches, but do not have a specific or directed gender approach, but rather are more related to beginning, development and end activities within the class and other factors
