Resumen : Este Proyecto de investigación analiza la gestión y el desempeño financiero de las sucursales de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito San Francisco Ltda. Para ello mediante información financiera del período 2016-2018, proporcionada por la institución, se inició con la descripción del modelo de gestión actual de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito San Francisco Ltda., seguida del análisis del crecimiento de las sucursales con la gestión actual mediante tasas de crecimiento de activos, pasivos y patrimonio. En segundo lugar, mediante el método CAMEL se evaluó el desempeño financiero de las sucursales para determinar el nivel de riesgo de cada sucursal. Finalmente, mediante una correlación de Pearson para determinar la relación existente entre la estructura financiera y el desempeño financiero de las sucursales. El estudio encontró que las sucursales presentan, valiosos índices de endeudamiento, en promedio es considerablemente alto y la deuda es financiada por los recursos aportados por los socios; por otro lado, el índice de apalancamiento tiene un valor intermedio de unidades del activo generadas por cada unidad monetaria de patrimonio. Según el método CAMEL todas las sucursales se encuentran en un nivel de riesgo medio. Finalmente, se observó que existe una considerable correlación positiva entre el apalancamiento y el desempeño financiero, con lo cual se aceptó la hipótesis alterna, de que la estructura financiera incide en el desempeño financiero de las sucursales de la COAC San Francisco Ltda.
Descripción : This research project paper analyzes the management and financial performance of the branches of the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito San Francisco Ltda. For this purpose, through financial information of the 2016-2018 period, provided by the institution, it began with the description of the management model Current branches, by analyzing the financial structure to determine the levels of indebtedness and leverage. Secondly, through the CAMEL method, the financial performance of the branches was evaluated to determine the level of risk of each branch. Finally, through a Pearson correlation to determine the relationship between the financial structure and the financial performance of the branches. The study found that branches have valuable indexes, on average considerably high of the debt is financed by the resources contributed by the partners; On the other hand, the leverage index has an average value intermediate of monetary units of assets generated by each monetary unit of equity. According to the CAMEL method, all branches are at a medium level of risk. Finally, it was observed that there is a considerable positive correlation between leverage and financial performance, which accepted the alternative hypothesis, that the financial structure affects the financial performance of the branches of the COAC San Francisco Ltda.
