| dc.description | The purpose of this research work analyze the tariff burden in the Ecuadorian economy, to identify the causal relationship presented by the research variables. In addition, the aim is to describe the level of incidence of inflation in Ecuador during the period from 2007-2015. Consequently, it is sought to relate the variables through a systematic pattern with the purpose of making known the degree of association that It exists between the tariff burden and inflation in Ecuador, through the structuring of econometric models to assess the level of relationship that exists between the variables studied. The results of this study show that there is an inflationary effect generated by the application of protectionist measures in the economy, but the dilemma of safeguarding the flow of foreign currency and avoiding an inflationary process is also recognizable in a way that gives justification to the application of safeguards. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como propósito analizar la carga arancelaria en la economía ecuatoriana, para identificar la relación causal que presentan las variables de investigación. A demás se busca describir el nivel de incidencia de la inflación en el Ecuador durante el período comprendido entre el año 2007–2015, en consecuencia, se busca relacionar las variables mediante un patrón sistemático con el propósito de dar a conocer el grado de asociación que existe entre la carga arancelaria y la inflación en el Ecuador, mediante la estructuración de modelos econométricos para evaluar el nivel de relación que existe entre las variables estudiadas. Los resultados de este estudio muestran que existe un efecto inflacionario generado por la aplicación de medidas proteccionistas en la economía, pero también es reconocible el dilema de salvaguardar el flujo de divisas y evitar un proceso inflacionario de manera que se da justificación a la aplicación de salvaguardas. | es_ES |
