El periodismo cultural y la responsabilidad social en Ambato

Abstract

It studies the treatment given to cultural journalism in the media of the canton Ambato, as well as reference the social responsibility exercised in the fulfillment of the common responsibilities, and items promulgated in the Organic Law of Communication. It determines themes such as: the production of content that promotes culture, identity values and its broadcast space in the television, radio and written media, present in Ambato during the month of February 2017. It contains the analysis of the problem from the qualitative-quantitative approach, by means of evaluation and monitoring of random transmissions in cultural programs and supplements, TV, radio and physical records of local newspapers as part of the investigation, And interviews on cultural journalism with characteristics of social responsibility, in the audiences and communicators of the province of Tungurahua. It is concluded that the diversity of content in the local media is supposedly justified by their pluralism, existing between them a tacit concept and common denominator that makes them only reproducers of inoperative subjects serving only their corporate interests.
