Abstract

The present research is developed with the theme: The audiovisual production of Unimax and Tv MIC and the transculturization of indigenous marriage in the town of San Francisco Chibuleo, in order to determine how the audiovisual production of Unimax and Tv MIC generate transculturization of the Indigenous marriage The research was of bibliographical type - documental and of field and included 97 economically active people of the Community San Francisco de Chibuleo and to 44 journalists, to whom the technique of the interview and survey was applied, besides that the analysis of the Television grid to determine that the audiovisual media if they affect the transculturation of the Chibuleo people, this is evidenced in the new ways of assuming and celebrating the Indian marriage, where accessories are shown in the dress of grooms and godparents, modifications in the type of food And music, religious celebration but above all in the ancestral beliefs that enrich this culture. Chibuleo is a community with countless cultural riches, but one of the most important and representative is the marriage, to symbolize a sacred act, for its rituality, respect, commitment and peculiar religious and social celebration. Chibuleo, which includes photographs, videos, interviews and testimonies, will be able to persuade the public's attention and interest in this culture, but even more will be achieved by redeeming, rooting and recognizing these important cultural elements within the Community and society in general, avoiding a transculturization and stimulating the love of the socio-cultural elements that make Ecuador a biodiverse country.
